Clinical Psychologist

What you can expect:

Join a diverse team of Allied Health professionals, providing Rehabilitation services to the Dunedin community. The team has grown, with this Clinical Psychologist role becoming available due to career movement. Working with a range of ACC and private contracts, psychology services are involved with clients needing rehabilitation after injury, pain management, and input into obtaining their Independence.

What you have to do:

• Provide psychology support for clients - wide range of clinical presentations
• Ability to work alongside a close-knit multi-disciplinary team
• Assess clients to determine the appropriate treatment plan and/or recommendations based on sound clinical reasoning.
• Deliver service in the timeframes set out in service specification for the relevant contract.
• Attend any meetings that are required such as reviews, case conferences and discharge planning meetings.

What you have to have:

• NZ Registered Clinical Psychologist with current NZ APC
• Current/valid Driver's Licence
• Previous experience with ACC contracts
• Outstanding clinical and people skills.
