Clinical Planning

Purpose of the Position To bridge hospital operational requirements with the architectural and design team, ensuring clinical and non-clinical workflows are efficient, safe, and aligned with best practices. Responsible for operational inputs during design stages, including volume forecasting, area space programming, workflow mapping, and department sizing. Roles & Responsibilities - Provide operational inputs during Concept, Schematic, and Detail Design stages. - Validate clinical adjacencies, spatial relationships, and adjacency requirements. - Collaborate with the architectural and design team to ensure that hospital operations are integrated into the design process. - Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of hospital operations, including volume forecasting, area space programming, workflow mapping, and department sizing. - Provide input on operational feasibility and practicality during the design stages.
