Clinical Pathology Technical Lead — Lead a High-Performance Lab

A leading healthcare laboratory in Rustenburg is seeking a Technical Lead in Clinical Pathology. This role involves ensuring the highest standards of diagnostic excellence, guiding a skilled team, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Candidates must have a relevant Medical Technology qualification, current HPCSA registration, and at least three years of relevant experience. The position offers a dynamic work environment and is focused on maintaining operational efficiency and quality through effective process management, collaboration with stakeholders, and innovative problem-solving. Key responsibilities include: • Providing technical guidance and support to the laboratory team; • Developing and implementing processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices; • Collaborating with other departments to identify and implement opportunities for improvement; • Maintaining accurate records of testing results and quality control measures; • Participating in internal audits and external inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical pathology principles, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
