What you will do in this role: * As the Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will work in the Ortho Neuro Trauma Unit. * You will be responsible for the coordination of patient care and the management of nursing staff. * You will be a key member of the interdisciplinary team and will work collaboratively with physicians, other healthcare professionals, patients and their families to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. * You will be responsible for the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures. * You will be responsible for the evaluation of nursing staff performance and the provision of constructive feedback. * You will be responsible for the maintenance of a safe and efficient work environment. * You will be responsible for the management of unit resources, including staffing, supplies, and equipment. * You will be responsible for the development and implementation of unit-specific education programs. * You will be responsible for the monitoring of patient outcomes and the identification of opportunities for improvement. * You will be responsible for the promotion of a positive work environment and the fostering of teamwork. * You will be responsible for the adherence to all regulatory and accreditation requirements. Qualifications What you will need: * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing * Current RN license in the state of Missouri or the ability to obtain prior to hire * BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association * Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse * Minimum of 1 year of experience in Ortho, Neuro or Trauma nursing * Experience in a leadership role preferred * Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks * Ability to problem-solve and make decisions * Ability to provide constructive feedback to staff * Ability to maintain a safe and efficient work environment * Ability to manage unit resources * Ability to develop and implement education programs * Ability to monitor patient outcomes * Ability to promote a positive work environment and foster teamwork HCA Healthcare is a leading healthcare provider with a mission to improve more lives in more ways.
