The position of Client Service Director is located at RYSM INTEGRAL – the Digital Experience Unit of the RYSM agency group. The focus of RYSM INTEGRAL is Digital Strategy, CX Consulting, Platforms & Services, Data Portals & Websites.

You don't want to manage individual digital projects, but take responsibility for a large, long-term client mandate? As Client Service Director, you will have the overall strategic, economic, and customer-related responsibility for one of our key mandates in the Public Sector – at the interface of client consulting, account development, and digital delivery, supported by an experienced team of project management, consulting, UX/UI, technology, and operations.

What you will be responsible for

• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with decision-makers and key contacts
• in-depth understanding of our clients' goals, roadmaps, and challenges, reacting early and providing solutions instead of waiting for ready-made requests
• Proactive development of new topics and consulting services (e.g., platform further development, UX, technology, editorial processes, AI)
• Responsibility for revenue, contribution margin, and forecast
• Overarching supervision of large projects, supporting project managers with milestones and escalations
• Aligning the client-focused core team, involving suitable specialists
• Identifying synergies so that successful solutions also create added value elsewhere
• Operational project management is handled by our project managers – you maintain the perspective on the overall mandate.

• Several years of experience in a digital agency, digital consultancy, or comparable environment
• Experience with public clients and understanding of administration and public communication
• Experience in advising demanding clients as well as with larger website, CMS, or platform projects
• Economic and entrepreneurial thinking, a strong sense for client needs
• Confidence in dealing with different stakeholders, ability to align teams without disciplinary responsibility
• Good basic technical understanding; TYPO3 knowledge is an advantage, not a requirement
• You don't have to have fully managed a comparable large account yet – the position is also suitable as the next step for experienced Senior Consultants, Account Managers, or Senior Project Managers with a desire for more strategic and economic responsibility.

• The opportunity to help shape complex digital platforms over several years – instead of managing as many projects yourself as possible.
• Regular personal presence at the client's site is important for this role – therefore, we are particularly looking for someone who lives or has a permanent professional focus in the Rhineland-Palatinate/Mainz region.
