Client Portfolio Specialist (Fixed Income)

The Client Portfolio Specialist (APAC ex Japan) serves as a critical link between the firm's Fixed Income platform and its stakeholders. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert across the firm's Fixed Income suite of capabilities in front of external clients as well as the firm's distribution teams. This role combines deep technical expertise in fixed income markets with strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate investment processes, performance, and market insights. The role will be primarily responsible for the following: * **Client Relationship Management:** * Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries related to fixed income portfolios and strategies. * Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients and prospects across APAC (ex Japan). * Proactively communicate with clients on market developments, portfolio performance, and investment strategy updates. * Organize and conduct client meetings, presentations, and due diligence sessions. * **Portfolio Analysis & Reporting:** * Conduct in-depth analysis of fixed income portfolios, including performance attribution and risk analysis. * Prepare and present regular performance reports and commentary for clients. * Collaborate with portfolio managers and research analysts to understand and articulate investment decisions. * Stay abreast of market trends and regulatory changes impacting fixed income investments. * **Business Development & Sales Support:** * Partner with distribution teams to support sales efforts and identify new business opportunities. * Develop and deliver compelling presentations and marketing materials for prospective clients. * Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs). * Represent the firm at industry conferences and events. * **Product Expertise:** * Develop a deep understanding of the firm's fixed income investment strategies, including credit, rates, and emerging markets. * Provide expert guidance on fixed income markets and investment opportunities to both clients and internal stakeholders. * Collaborate with product development teams to enhance the firm's fixed income offerings. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; CFA or advanced degree preferred. * 7+ years of experience in fixed income, with a focus on client service or portfolio management. * Strong understanding of fixed income markets, instruments, and investment strategies. * Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships. * Experience with portfolio analytics tools and reporting systems. * Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other APAC languages is a plus. * Willingness to travel as needed. **Benefits:** * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Opportunity to work with a leading investment firm. * Challenging and rewarding work environment. * Professional development opportunities.
