Location: Warkworth, Auckland Region
Employment Type: Casual / On-Call
Are you a reliable and caring person who takes pride in keeping spaces clean and welcoming? Warkworth Hospital is seeking a Casual Cleaner to join our Environmental Services team, helping us maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across patient rooms and shared areas.
About the Role:
You'll play an important part in ensuring our hospital provides a safe, comfortable, and pleasant environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Duties include cleaning and sanitising patient rooms, bathrooms, and common spaces, and ensuring infection control procedures are always followed.

- Maintain cleaning equipment and restock supplies as required

- Work cooperatively with nursing and support staff
- Previous cleaning experience (hospital or aged care setting preferred)
- Experience working with dementia patients is a bonus
- Strong attention to detail and a caring attitude
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment
- Friendly and supportive team culture
- Training and guidance provided
- Flexible casual hours
