Job description

Dance&Arts is growing, and we are looking for vibrant and enthusiastic instructors to lead a variety of afterschool clubs for children across London. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young talents through fun, interactive, and creative sessions. We are building a vibrant team to bring enriching experiences in:

Dance (all styles): Lead energetic dance classes, teaching choreography and movement.

Drama & Musical Theatre: Foster creativity, confidence, and stage presence through acting, singing, and movement.

Gymnastics (mat-based only): Teach fundamental gymnastics skills in a safe, fun, mat-based environment.

Arts & Crafts: Guide children through exciting hands-on creative projects using various materials.

Yoga: Introduce children to mindfulness, flexibility, and strength through age-appropriate yoga.

Zumba: Lead high-energy, dance-fitness classes that are fun and engaging for kids.

Parkour: Teach foundational parkour movements in a safe and structured environment.

Languages (French, Spanish, etc.): Introduce children to new languages and cultures through interactive games, songs, and stories.

Multi-Sports: Lead various sports and physical activities, promoting teamwork and active lifestyles.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver weekly 1-hour sessions tailored for children aged 4–16, depending on the club.

Teach engaging, age-appropriate activities, encouraging creativity and expression in your specialist field.

Foster teamwork, confidence, and self-expression through group activities.

Ensure each session is structured, fun, and aligned with Dance&Arts' teaching philosophy.

Communicate effectively with school staff and follow safeguarding guidelines.

Requirements

Strong background and expertise in your chosen field(s) (Dance, Drama, Gymnastics, Arts & Crafts, Yoga, Zumba, Parkour, Languages, Multi-Sports, etc.).

Experience working with primary and/or secondary-aged children.

Ability to engage and inspire a group in a fun, structured way.

Reliable, enthusiastic, and punctual.

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Right to work in the UK is required.
