Job description
The role:
- Operating a Class 1 vehicle to complete deliveries throughout the Christchurch region
- Safely transporting goods and ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Loading and unloading freight as required
- Handling goods weighing up to 25 kg
- Completing vehicle checks and following all health and safety procedures
- Providing professional and friendly customer service at delivery locations
- Full Class 1 licence with a clean driving record
- Previous driving or delivery experience preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 25 kg
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Good communication skills and a positive work ethic
- A safe and responsible approach to driving
- Wednesday to Friday roster with consistent hours
- Variety in your day with deliveries across Christchurch
- Supportive team environment with ongoing training
