Job description

We’re hiring a dependable and experienced Class 1 Driver for a 1-month contract hauling flat deck loads between Edmonton and Fort McMurray, AB. This is a great opportunity for a professional driver looking for consistent hours and a well-defined route.

Class 1 Driver – Contract Position (Flat Deck Truck)
Route: Edmonton to Fort McMurray, Alberta
Duration: 1 Month (Contract)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Operate a flat deck truck safely and efficiently on a fixed route.
Secure and inspect loads in compliance with safety standards.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients.

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 Driver’s License (Alberta).
Minimum 2 years of flat deck experience preferred.
Clean driver’s abstract.
Strong knowledge of Alberta highways, especially Hwy 63.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
