Claims Expert (m/f/d) Medical & Travel (Fixed-Term)

For our team, we are looking for a Claims Expert (m/f/d) with a focus on Medical or Travel. In this role, you combine sound claims experience with a strong understanding of quality. Initial exposure to fraud and leakage topics is welcome. In addition, you will support other business units with selected issues, including Automotive. The position is initially limited to two years.
 
Your main tasks:

• You analyze complex claims in the Medical or Travel sector to review processing quality and underlying processes and identify potential for improvement
• You analyze cases, data, and processes, identify causes and potential for improvement, and derive concrete measures for quality improvement
• You accompany agreed-upon measures, keep an eye on open points, and work closely with the involved teams and specialist departments
• You identify anomalies and potential risks, examine suspicious cases and situations, and participate in appropriate prevention and improvement measures
• You create meaningful analyses and evaluations to make quality, effectiveness, and progress transparent and measurable
• You support the continuous further development of processes, quality standards, and operational procedures in claims management

• You have several years of experience in claims management, ideally in the Medical or Travel sector, and experience in handling complex claims
• You have a strong understanding of operational quality and the ambition to continuously improve processes and processing results
• Initial experience or exposure to fraud prevention, fraud detection, or leakage is an advantage
• You have completed vocational training, a degree, or a comparable qualification, for example in the fields of insurance, business, medicine, or tourism
• You work analytically, structurally, and solution-oriented and are comfortable working with data, key figures, and evaluations
• You convince with clear, binding communication and enjoy working with different teams and stakeholders in an international environment
• You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills
