Claims administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Claims Administrator to join our client's dynamic team in the long-term insurance sector. This role focuses on managing and processing claims within Employer/Employee benefits, including gap cover, provident funds, and retirement annuities (among a few). The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately capturing, reviewing, and administering claims, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering excellent service to both internal stakeholders and external clients. Key responsibilities include: • Managing and processing claims in accordance with established procedures and guidelines; • Conducting thorough investigations into claims, including gathering relevant information and interviewing witnesses; • Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of claims submissions; • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all claims-related activities; • Providing exceptional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders; • Collaborating with other team members to resolve complex issues and ensure timely resolution of claims. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. insurance, law, or business); • 2-3 years' experience in a similar role; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); • Familiarity with industry-specific software and systems.
