In this supervisor role, you’ll bring your expertise to projects, helping progress the works in line with the construction program and ensuring the safety and quality of daily on-site activities.

Opportunity

This is an opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to join a project team delivering a range of projects within the Cairns region. You’ll play a vital role in overseeing on-site operations, leading a team of subcontractors and labour, and ensuring the works are delivered to program and to a high standard of quality and safety. In this role, you’ll bring your extensive experience in road construction and slope stabilisation to ensure projects are kept progressing in line with the construction program.

Role

As a supervisor, you will:

• Coordinate daily on-site activities, including plant, labour, and subcontractor management
• Oversee safety, quality, and environmental compliance on-site
• Ensure works are progressing in line with the construction program and resolve on-site challenges
• Liaise with Engineers and the Project Manager to keep the project on track
• Maintain site records and contribute to progress reporting and communication

Requirements

• Experience supervising road construction, slope stabilisation or civil infrastructure works
• Experience working on DTMR or TMR project
• Strong leadership and coordination skills
• A commitment to safety, quality, and productivity on-site
• Relevant tickets and industry experience
