Civil Site Engineer

Job Description – Civil Site Engineer (3–5 Years Experience)

Industry: Building Construction (Hotel / Resort / Hospital Projects)

Location: Siliguri Dagapur

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and monitor daily site activities (excavation, foundation, RCC, steel fixing, shuttering, masonry, finishing, etc.) to ensure execution as per approved drawings and specifications.

· Prepare and verify Bar Bending Schedules (BBS); ensure reinforcement and shuttering are executed as per design.

· Inspect and verify formwork, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, and finishing works for quality compliance.

· Conduct site surveys using Total Station & Auto Level; verify dimensions, levels, and alignments.

· Plan and allocate daily and next-day work to site teams, following strict project timelines and milestones.

· Report regularly to the Project Manager on site progress, issues, and resource requirements.

· Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and discipline engineers (MEP, Interiors, etc.) to resolve site issues.

· Ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC, safety protocols, and project specifications.

· Verify measurements, quantities, and contractor bills for accuracy.

· Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), material consumption, and manpower records.

· Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation

· Be sincere, disciplined, and avoid delays or disputes; maintain professional conduct at all times.

· Promote a friendly and healthy workplace by ensuring good communication and positive interaction with staff and workers.

Requirements:

· Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.

· Experience: 3–5 years in building construction projects (hospitality, healthcare, residential, or commercial).

· Strong technical knowledge in steel work, BBS, shuttering, RCC, and finishing works.

· Hands-on experience in site execution, surveying (Total Station & Auto Level), and construction documentation.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and site survey instruments.

· Strong focus on quality, safety, timelines, and teamwork.

· Good communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
