Civil Roads Inspectors - IR01/2or3 (B07) GenQLD

We have more opportunities on the horizon in the Brisbane & greater QLD region and are seeking experienced Civil Roads Inspectors - interested in joining us and capable of committing to the following assignments for an initial 1 - 2 year durations with the possibility of ongoing extensions and other projects. The purpose of these roles are to inspect the construction of Asphalt roadworks to Transport and Main Roads' (DTMR) quality specifications & standards at IR03 (B07) 'Pre-Qualified' level. The successful candidates will be required to work in a team environment, with a focus on ensuring compliance with DTMR's quality control processes and procedures. This role is an excellent opportunity for experienced Civil Engineers or Construction Professionals looking to join a dynamic organization and contribute to the delivery of high-quality infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include: • Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with DTMR's quality specifications & standards; • Providing technical advice and guidance to construction teams on roadworks best practices; • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget; • Maintaining accurate records of inspections and reporting any non-compliances or defects; • Participating in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices. The ideal candidate will have: • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; • At least 2 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably in roadworks or infrastructure projects; • Strong understanding of DTMR's quality specifications & standards for Asphalt roadworks; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work effectively in a team environment; • Willingness to commit to an initial 1-2 year duration with the possibility of ongoing extensions and other projects.
