ABOUT THE ROLE – Civil Project Engineer

We are looking for a Civil Project Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the development of EPC projects in the industrial sector, with particular reference to the Hydrogen, Oil & Gas, Chemical and Petrochemical, Power Generation, and Biomethane sectors.

The resource will be responsible for the development and management of the civil design of the contracts, interfacing with the various technical disciplines and supporting the Project Manager in procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop civil layouts and plant civil works, verifying clearances, accessibility, and multidisciplinary interferences.
  • Design civil and infrastructural works such as foundations, technical buildings, ducting, drainage networks, roads, and reinforced concrete structures.
  • Develop 2D/3D models and design drawings.
  • Prepare and update technical specifications, civil building standards, and project documentation.
  • Support the preparation of technical reports, specifications, bills of quantities, and project documentation.
  • Ensure the conformity of the design with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Support the Project Manager and the purchasing department in preparing purchase requisitions (RDAs) and in the technical evaluation of suppliers.
  • Support construction, installation, commissioning, and testing activities for civil works.
  • Monitor the progress of site activities, verifying the quality and conformity of the works.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, and Project Management teams to ensure correct discipline coordination.


Requirements

  • Degree in Civil/Building Engineering and/or Specialized Technical Diploma (Surveyor or equivalent).
  • At least 3 years of experience in the design and management of civil and infrastructural works.
  • Preferable experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Hydrogen, Petrochemical, Biomethane contexts, or complex industrial plant engineering.
  • Knowledge of the design of foundations, underground works, drainage networks, roads, ducting, and structures supporting industrial plants.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
  • Knowledge of the main 2D/3D civil/building design and modeling software.
  • Ability to interface with internal and external multidisciplinary technical teams.


The salary for this role ranges between €30,000 and €40,000. The position is classified within the National Collective Labor Agreement for Commerce and Tertiary sector applied by our company. The placement within the range will be defined based on technical skills, specific experience in the role, and the results of the selection process, according to objective and neutral criteria. In the presence of profiles with exceptional characteristics compared to the indicated range, a revision may be considered with prior internal approval.
