We are working with a well-established West Auckland firm that is seeking a talented civil litigator to join its busy disputes practice. The role offers a varied and stimulating caseload, with the opportunity to take ownership of files and work closely with senior lawyers who are respected in the local market.
You will act on a wide range of matters, including contract disputes, property litigation, debt recovery, relationship property disputes, and other contentious work. The firm prides itself on its collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical, solutions-focused advice to clients.

- Managing your own files from start to finish
- Appearing in the District and High Courts and at mediations
- Advising on a range of civil disputes
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Mentoring junior team members (for those at the senior level)
- 3+ years post-admission experience in civil litigation
- Strong advocacy and negotiation skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Commercial acumen and clear communication skills
