Job description

Civil Labourers, Plant Operators (rollers) and ticketed Electrical Spotters are currently being sought by ALH Recruitment to join our expanding team for immediate work on major civil and urban development projects across projects in South Brisbane, Park Ridge, Greenbank & Logan areas.

Looking for hands-on, physically active work where your reliability and safety focus make a real impact? As part of these roles, you’ll assist with civil construction works, operate machinery, support trades, and help deliver high-quality infrastructure projects.

These are full-time positions, Monday to Friday with optional Saturdays, ideal for motivated individuals seeking ongoing work and career development.

What you’ll do:

General labouring and site clean-up
Assist machine operators and plant crews
Operate smooth drum & pad foot rollers
Trenching, spotting, and supporting various trades
Grade checking and use of hand & power tools
Loading, unloading, and moving materials

What you’ll have:

Previous experience in civil construction, roller operation, or electrical spotting
Tickets and licenses (HR License, Electrical Spotters Ticket, Confined Spaces, Working at Heights, Plant Operations) are desirable
White Card (mandatory)
Reliable transport to and from worksites
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and in a team
Physically fit and safety-conscious
