Civil Engineering Draftsperson

OPPORTUNITY Due to continued company growth, MLEI Consulting Engineers has an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Brisbane office, reporting to a Civil Engineering Manager. POSITION SUMMARY Provide accurate, efficient, and high-quality civil design and drafting services across a range of projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with the drafting and engineering teams throughout project development. Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to prepare detailed drawings and designs for various infrastructure projects. Utilize Autodesk AutoCAD or similar CAD software to create accurate and precise drawings. Develop and maintain comprehensive project records, including design specifications, calculations, and reports. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations. KEY REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in civil engineering drafting or a similar role. Proficiency in CAD software, preferably Autodesk AutoCAD. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including design and construction methods. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
