Civil Engineer - Water
Job description
We’re looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Water team in Wellington.
This role is ideal for an engineer with 3+ years’ experience who is passionate about water infrastructure and is working towards Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status. You’ll work on projects across hydraulics, pump stations, stormwater runoff, and water management, while building your expertise alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
Your day-to-day will see you:
- Design of 3-water infrastructure projects with a focus on either “pipes and pumps.” or Stormwater network
- Delivery and Construction Monitoring of 3-water infrastructure projects
- Applying your technical skills in hydraulics, stormwater runoff and pump station design.
- Using software such as Civil 3D, 12D, InfoWorks and HEC-HMS modelling to deliver practical, high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborating across disciplines to provide integrated solutions for clients.
- Growing your technical expertise while progressing towards CPEng accreditation.
