Civil Design Engineers - Brighton

Our client is currently seeking Civil Design Engineers to join their team in Brighton, working within the water sector on a contract basis. This position offers a hybrid work model and falls inside IR35, providing an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute to multiple frameworks including STW, Thames, Anglian, Southern, and Southwest Water. Key Responsibilities: Developing detailed civil designs for a mix of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects related to clean water, wastewater, and flood risk management. This will involve working closely with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality designs that meet project requirements and regulatory standards. Key Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of civil design principles and practices, with experience in CAD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Chartered or near-Chartered status with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or equivalent is desirable.
