Circular Economy Consultant

The engineering company Prof. Czurda and Partners mbH (ICP) is a leading mid-sized engineering office in the fields of waste management, landfill technology, site remediation and geotechnics with its headquarters in Karlsruhe.

Tasks

This is what you'll be doing:

• Conducting feasibility studies
• Carrying out due diligence inspections of facilities
• Evaluating the legal, socio-economic and environmental framework conditions for waste projects, from concept design to implementation
• Issuing project tenders, comparing offers and leading contract negotiations
• Site supervision or organizing site supervision during project implementation
• Developing and elaborating financing models

Qualification

This is what you bring:

• Studies in the field of environmental technology or a comparable field. Experience in waste management is advantageous
• Travel readiness and fluent German and English skills are requiredWishes for additional qualifications for Germany, but internationally mandatory:
• Experience operating waste disposal facilities
• Counseling experience in the field of waste management
• Counseling on sustainable resource management and circular economy
• Experience with projects financed by international institutions (e.g. KfW, GIZ, ADB etc.)
