Church International - Test Engineer

Brussels (Hybrid: 50% onsite / 50% homeworking) Freelance contract We are hiring on behalf of a leading European bank for an Expert Test Engineer to join their organisation. You will play a key role in enhancing testing capabilities across multiple squads. You will work closely with other Test Engineers, Agile and DevOps coaches, and development teams to define and implement testing strategies, improve test maturity, and foster a culture of automation, quality, and collaboration. Key responsibilities include: • Defining and implementing testing strategies in collaboration with Agile and DevOps coaches; • Improving test maturity by developing and maintaining comprehensive test plans and test cases; • Fostering a culture of automation, quality, and collaboration within the organisation; • Collaborating with development teams to ensure that testing is integrated into the software development lifecycle; • Identifying and prioritising testing opportunities across multiple squads; • Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to ensure that testing needs are met. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; • At least 3 years of experience as a Test Engineer; • Strong understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum; • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools; • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
