Church International - Database Administrator

Our client, a primary supplier to multiple NATO frameworks, is seeking a qualified to support their database and BI infrastructure. Work Location: Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium On-site Requirement: 100% on-site Mandatory: Candidates must already hold a valid NATO Secret, EU Secret, or an equivalent national clearance level or higher Contract Start Date: 16 February 2026 Contract End Date: 31 December 2026 Contract Duration: Various start dates across 2026 The Database Administrator will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our client's database infrastructure. This includes ensuring data integrity, security, and availability. Additionally, the Database Administrator will work closely with the business stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs. Key responsibilities include: • Designing, implementing, and maintaining databases using various tools and technologies • Ensuring data quality and integrity by developing and implementing data validation rules and procedures • Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and other visualizations to support business decision-making • Collaborating with the IT team to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications • Providing training and support to end-users on database usage and best practices The ideal candidate will have: • A degree in Computer Science or a related field • At least 3 years of experience in database administration, preferably with a focus on NATO Secret clearance level or higher • Strong understanding of database management systems, data modeling, and data warehousing • Experience with SQL and programming languages such as Python or Java • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and technologies • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
