CHS Manager (CHSM - SACPCMP) - WC

A well-established and reputable engineering and construction consultancy with a strong footprint across large-scale infrastructure and building projects, is currently seeking a Construction Health and Safety Manager to join their Western Cape team. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain Construction Health and Safety (CHS) plans in compliance with regulatory requirements Oversee and manage CHS compliance across complex and high-risk construction projects Conduct site inspections, regularly review and update CHS plans as necessary Ensure all stakeholders are aware of and comply with CHS policies and procedures Identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. Requirements: Proven experience in Construction Health and Safety management Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations (e.g., OHSA, COID) Ability to develop and implement effective CHS plans and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including project managers, site supervisors, and workers Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
