Chrome Extension Developer (m/f/d)

We build specialized Chrome extensions for professional users of AI tools such as ChatGPT.

Our focus is on high-performance, well-architected browser extensions that deliver real productivity value — not experiments or gimmicks.

We are looking for an experienced Chrome Extension Developer who understands how to design, build, and maintain production-ready browser extensions.

Tasks

• Develop and maintain modern Chrome extensions
• Build UI components for browser environments (content scripts, popups, options pages)
• Work with Chrome Extension APIs (Manifest V3)
• Integrate external APIs and manage browser storage (local / sync)
• Optimize performance, reliability, and code quality
• Prepare and manage releases for the Chrome Web Store
• Collaborate closely on product and technical decisions (not just ticket execution)

Requirements

• Strong experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
• Proven experience building Chrome Extensions (Manifest V3 required)

Solid knowledge of:

• Content Scripts
• Background / Service Workers
• Chrome Storage APIs

And

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or well-structured Vanilla JS)
• Strong understanding of clean, maintainable code
• Independent and structured working style
• Very good English or German skills

Benefits

• Work on real products with paying users
• Clear technical ownership — no agency chaos
• Fast decision-making and direct communication
• Modern tech stack
• Long-term collaboration opportunities
• Competitive payment based on experience

If you see Chrome extensions as serious software products — not side projects — we would love to hear from you.

Please include links or references to Chrome extensions you have built or contributed to.
