3.5 Ton Truck Driver with Federal License for Hazardous Waste

Position Description: Operation of units for the collection and transportation of hazardous waste and used lubricating oil in the northern area of Quintana Roo and the Yucatan Peninsula, in accordance with SEMARNAT, ASEA, and SICT regulations. Main Activities: * Operate cargo units, single unit tank trucks, for the collection and transport of hazardous waste. * Perform daily pre-operational inspection of the unit: levels, tires, brakes, lights, fire extinguishers, emergency equipment, and risk signage (NOM004SCT rhombuses). * Verify that the cargo is correctly stowed, secured, and compatible before starting the trip. * Requisition and safeguard the documentation for each trip: delivery-transport-reception manifests, waybills, collection logs, and photographic evidence. * Comply with the routes and schedules assigned by the Operations Management; report deviations, delays, or incidents immediately. * Load and unload waste at client facilities and at the collection center, with mandatory use of personal protective equipment. * Apply spill and roadside emergency response procedures according to the corresponding response guide. * Maintain the unit clean, in operational condition, and report needs for preventive and corrective maintenance. * Attend to the client on-site with professional treatment and respect their internal safety and hygiene rules. * Comply with company controls regarding breathalyzer tests, toxicological exams, and mandatory training. * Record mileage, fuel consumption, and travel expense reimbursement.
