Children's Residential Support Worker
Job description
Due to expansion we have some fabulous opportunities to join our hardworking and reliable team as Children's Residential Support Workers (full time only), changing lives and providing bright futures for our young people aged 7-18, and providing them a place they can truly call home, a safe haven where they can thrive and grow into adulthood comfortably
Based in our homely, warm and welcoming residential home in Staffordshire, where we can care for up to 3 young people with challenging behaviours, autism and ADHD, complex needs and learning disabilities we are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals who share our ethos and commitment to creating a home environment filled with laughter and memories that will last a lifetime.
Our passion for providing our young people with a home they can relax and enjoy is what keeps us motivated daily, the role is demanding but very rewarding and give you the opportunity to change their quality of life for the better and help provide a smooth path to adulthood and beyond.
Must have experience within UK based Children's Residential care and have experience around challenging behaviours, and can commit to our shift patterns which include a long day and sleep on a 2 on 3 off basis.
A full UK manual driving licence would also be essential.*** Please note we do not offer any form of sponsorship for this role so please do not apply if this is required now or moving forward.
Starting salary for the role will be £13 per hour (35 hours per week minimum) plus a sleep bonus of £50 per completed sleep and we offer a free meals on shift, a generous 30 days annual leave, company pension scheme, voucher scheme.
