Blackshaw Nursery offers full and part time childcare services to the staff of St George's Hospital and the local community for children aged 1-5 years. Blackshaw Nursery is dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for the children. Our experienced team ensure each child receives the highest quality care and education.

Staff will be required to work shifts, which rotate on a weekly basis.Daily tasks include planning and implementing age appropriate activities, ensuring health and safety standards and promoting children's physical,emotional and social development. The practitioner will also engage with parents and caregivers to support their child's development and maintain accurate records of each child's progress.

Annual leave is 22 days a year,rising to 25 after 5 years , plus bank holidays. The nursery is closed 2 days a year for staff training.

The applicant needs to have a relevant level 3 childcare qualification (e.g.CACHE or NVQ level 3). First aid is essential if qualified after 2016.
