Child Care Worker

About Us: Lumora Early Learning Centre and Kindergarden Pty Ltd is a trusted early learning and childcare centre committed to providing a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for children. About the Role: We are seeking three caring and dedicated Child Care Workers to join our team. The successful applicant will assist in the delivery of age-appropriate educational programs and activities for children aged 0-6 years. This role involves providing direct care and supervision, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, and supporting the Lead Educator in creating a positive and engaging learning atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate educational programs and activities. - Provide direct supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. - Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. - Assist with feeding, napping, and hygiene routines. - Maintain a clean and organised learning environment. - Observe and document children's progress and development. - Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities. - Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality childcare experience. - Adhere to all centre policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. - Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities. Qualifications and Experience: - Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent (or willingness to obtain). - Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting is desirable. - A genuine passion for early childhood development. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively as part of a team. - Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude. - Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). - A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
