Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Location: Singapore (preferred) / APAC Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer About Tookitaki Tookitaki is a global financial crime prevention platform helping banks, FinTech's, payment providers and regulated institutions detect and prevent financial crime through AI-powered Anti-Money Laundering and Fraud Prevention solutions. As we enter our next stage of growth, we are seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead technology execution, engineering excellence, platforms and infrastructure development, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security for our growing global user base. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the overall technology strategy, leading cross-functional teams, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive business outcomes. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing a comprehensive technology roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic goals. • Leading and managing a team of engineers, architects, and other technical professionals to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions. • Collaborating with product management and business stakeholders to define and prioritize technology initiatives. • Ensuring the effective use of technology resources, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation. • Developing and maintaining relationships with key partners, vendors, and industry experts. • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth. • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members. • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. • Developing and maintaining a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and improvement within the technology organization. Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • At least 10 years of experience in a senior technical leadership role, preferably in the FinTech industry. • Proven track record of successfully leading technology teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget. • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile methodologies. • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure. • Familiarity with data analytics and machine learning concepts. • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have: • Experience with AI-powered solutions and machine learning algorithms. • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements. • Certification in a relevant technical field (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect). • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
