A medium-sized FinTech company in the field of data analysis for banks, with 11-50 employees and headquarters in Kassel. The company offers cloud-based transaction analytics solutions and positions itself as a European pioneer of data-driven business models. It combines modern AI technologies with a remote-first working model.

Responsibilities

• Define Technological Vision: Translate future tech trends into customer-oriented products
• Oversee Roadmap: Prioritize based on data-driven impact criteria
• C-Level Sales: Conduct independent discussions and clearly communicate technical added value
• Discover Customer Use Cases: Identify new application areas and develop them into profitable business models
• Sparring Partner for Founders & CEO: Actively contribute to strategic direction
• Measure Success: Establish, evaluate key performance indicators, and derive next steps.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of leadership experience as CTO, VP Engineering, or equivalent in the FinTech/Banking environment
• Deep expertise in cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs (REST, GraphQL), and AI/ML stacks
• Proven experience in C-level tech sales and business development
• Fluent German and English (C1)
• Hands-on mentality: You implement ideas yourself and lead the team in doing so.

What Doesn't Work Here

• No leadership experience in the banking/FinTech environment – lack of industry know-how
• Insufficient German language skills – impossible to communicate at decision-maker level
• Purely theoretical career without practical implementation – not a fit for a hands-on role
• Focus exclusively on pure coding without customer contact – business development requirement missed.
