As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for a dynamic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology vision and execution. Job Summary: The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be responsible for the overall technological vision, strategy, and execution within Space Industries. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of space technologies, engineering principles, and a proven track record of innovation and technological leadership. The CTO will work closely with the CEO, other executive team members, and technical teams to drive technological advancements, ensure the company's competitive edge, and contribute to the company's overall success. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and execute the company's technology roadmap, aligning it with the overall business strategy and objectives. * Lead the research and development of new technologies and solutions for satellite systems. * Oversee all aspects of technology development, including hardware, software, and systems integration. * Manage and mentor a team of engineers, scientists, and other technical professionals. * Establish and maintain relationships with key technology partners, vendors, and research institutions. * Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, and identify opportunities for innovation. * Ensure the company's technology infrastructure is secure, scalable, and reliable. * Manage the technology budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources. * Represent the company at industry events and conferences. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective communication. Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field; PhD preferred. * 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a focus on space technology or related industries. * Deep understanding of satellite systems, including design, development, testing, and operation. * Proven track record of leading and managing technical teams, with the ability to inspire and motivate. * Strong knowledge of engineering principles, software development, and systems integration. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. * Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions. * Experience with technology budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor management. * Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards.
