Chief Technician Electrical Maintenance (onshore)

Location:Facilitate Midia (OMV PETROM ENERGY SOLUTIONS SRL)

Contract of employment for a fixed period of 1 year, with the possibility of extension.

Job role:Titularul postului is responsible for coordinating activities related to operating and maintaining electrical systems in Facilitate Midia, ensuring equipment availability, personnel safety, and compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.

Main responsibilities:

·     Manages alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) electrical installations;

·     Ensures that personnel in subordination respect the work schedule and execute planned or/and accidental works.

·     Ensures that the system of work permits and associated documents are correctly prepared and implemented, and works are executed in safe conditions and according to norms;

·     Ensures that personnel in electric support teams, both day and night shifts, operate in safe conditions, according to job sheets and regulations. Any abnormal situation is transmitted and recorded in Daily Reports;

·     Ensures that electrical installations function properly, and personnel in subordination execute works or operate electrical installations with respect for rules and execution regulations;

·     Reports daily to superiors the work schedule, analyzes together any changes in priority, transmits work progress and achievements;

·     Participates, along with electric personnel in subordination, in planned and accidental maintenance works, as well as performing maneuvers in electrical distribution panels. Participates in any work related to the energy system, distribution, and production of electricity in Facilitate Midia;

·     Ensures that maintenance and repair works on electrical systems, including electric generators, are executed in accordance with requirements and task lists received;

·     Monitors the operation of generators, energy production, and consumer loads from the main distribution panel;

·     Performs actions to share workload and reduce load between generators, actions for entering/exiting electrical power for consumers, actions for removing and restarting electrical installations, starting and stopping equipment and electrical installations;

·     Conducts a review of asynchronous motors of 0.4 kV and 6 kV, circuits, command and protection circuits, as well as distribution panels;

·     Maintains power transformers and lighting, conducts a review of generators of 380 V AC and 6 kV, panels, protection and automation circuits, as well as associated equipment;

·       Takes care of managing orders and executed orders by loading them into the SAP PM system, after obtaining confirmations from the beneficiary's representatives.

Ideal candidate

Experience/studies/authorizations:

·       Higher education degree, with a university diploma, in electrical or electrotechnical profile;

·       Proven experience of 2-5 years in operating, servicing, and repairing activities in low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical stations;

·       Holding the ANRE authorization “Grupa a III-a”;

·       Holding the ATEX INSEMEX authorization for operating and maintaining electrical installations.

Abilities:

·       Ability to work in a team, good communication skills, and management abilities;

·       Being active in problem-solving;

·       Knowledge about inspection equipment and methods for analyzing the initial causes of defects (RCA);

·       Understanding of SAP structure and operating principles, PM and MM modules;

·       Good knowledge of PC operation, MS Office, Internet navigation, and general and industrial-specific search engine usage;

·       Good understanding of leading lucrative activities.
