We are Voltvera, a young and rapidly growing Energy-Tech startup from the heart of Cologne. Our mission: to significantly reduce energy costs for industrial companies, strengthen Germany's industrial location, and accelerate the energy transition in a measurable way.

To achieve this, we build intelligent battery storage solutions for industrial sites. We optimize peak shaving, self-consumption of PV systems, grid consumption, and other energy-related use cases.

We benefit from a market environment that is fundamentally changing: price volatility and the need for flexibility make our solution go from being a 'nice-to-have' to a critical infrastructure investment. We scale exactly when the market for industrial storage is pulling strongly.

As former strategy consultants and engineers, we combine entrepreneurial execution with strategic excellence and technical depth. We want Germany to be a pioneer in this field, and Voltvera to become a relevant player in the European energy market. We are convinced: the next few years will decide who shapes the new energy ecosystem.

Tasks

• Strategic and operational support for the management team in developing Voltvera, including market analyses, business cases, go-to-market strategies, decision-making templates, and special projects.
• Analyzing, structuring, and preparing economic and technical questions related to battery storage projects (e.g., cost models, site evaluations, offer and project calculations).
• Serving as an interface between business, technology, and external partners, including coordinating project partners, preparing customer meetings, and taking over operational responsibility independently.
• Goal: long-term development towards overall responsibility for a specific area, including leading a team.

Qualification

• Relevant experience in consulting, M&A, or startups.
• Analytical thinking & communication strength.
• German language skills at native speaker level.
• Drive, ownership, and enthusiasm for responsibility.
• Structured, independent work style.
• Passion for energy transition, tech, and economy.
