For this next phase of development, we are looking for a person who will take over central projects, bear operative responsibility, and work closely with the management team to further develop RETAIL NXT.

Your Role

As Chief of Staff, you will work directly with the management team and take on a central interface function within RETAIL NXT.

You will ensure that strategic topics are translated into concrete projects, priorities remain clear, and different working areas collaborate effectively. You will be moving at the intersection of strategy, operations, marketing, partnerships, content, and event implementation.

The role combines operational steering with entrepreneurial thinking. It is particularly suitable for people who want to take on responsibility, work very structuredly, and enjoy developing a growing format professionally.

Your Tasks

• • Steering central projects and cross-sectional initiatives within RETAIL NXT
    • Koordination of cooperation between marketing, partnerships, content, operations, and external service providers
    • Translation of strategic goals into clear project plans, responsibilities, and timelines
    • Preliminary preparation, structuring, and follow-up on important decisions
    • Building and optimizing processes, standards, and working methods
    • Ensuring a transparent project status across all relevant workstreams
    • Identifying bottlenecks, risks, and potential for improvement
    • Supporting the development of new formats, products, and partnership models
    • Closely collaborating with the management team on operational and strategic issues

Your Profile

You ideally bring 3-8 years of professional experience from, for example, consulting, start-ups, venture building, agencies, project management, transformation, or comparable dynamic environments.

A specific background in trade or the event industry is helpful but not a requirement. What's decisive is that you can quickly structure complex topics, bring people and projects together, and take responsibility for results.
