Chief of Staff (m/f/d)

As a Chief of Staff (m/f/d), you will support the CEO of one of our portfolio companies as a strategic sparring partner and central interface in implementing essential strategic priorities. You will create transparency regarding the company's development, prepare relevant decisions, and drive cross-functional topics independently.

In doing so, you will experience firsthand what it means to take entrepreneurial responsibility in a medium-sized company and to actively develop and maintain it, gaining direct insights into transaction business in the course of acquisitions.
The mandate offers the perspective of moving into AEM Unternehmerkapital's Private Equity Operations Team with successful collaboration.

• Steering strategic topics in close collaboration with the CEO and supporting the implementation of central company priorities
• Strategic decision support through the preparation of decision papers, analyses, and recommendations for action, as well as taking on critical issues
• Driving strategic priorities and cross-functional initiatives with high visibility and relevance for company development
• Building and further developing a KPI dashboard to create transparency regarding performance, strategic progress, risks, and areas for action
• Managing and implementing cross-functional projects for operational development, particularly through process optimization, efficiency improvement, and growth initiatives
• Coordinating central interfaces between the CEO, management team, and relevant company departments, as well as ensuring consistent implementation of agreed-upon measures

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in a top management consultancy / strategy consultancy
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset as well as a structured, detail-oriented, and consistently results-oriented approach to work
• Excellent strategic and analytical skills as well as the ability to quickly grasp, structure, and focus complex issues on the essential
• Very good communication and presentation skills as well as confident presence at management level
• Strong hands-on mentality and high initiative combined with the willingness to take responsibility and drive topics independently
• Very good German language skills (C2 level) and business fluent English skills, both written and spoken
