Chief of Staff Finance (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced Founders Associate Finance, who is ready to rethink the Finance Department of a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company 🚀

This is not a 9-to-5 job. You will take joint responsibility with our founder Domenik for the Finance Department – build processes anew, automate what runs manually today, and shape actively with, how modern finance looks like in a hypergrowth startup.

• 📈 What we plan to achieve by 2026: Make the Finance Department a strategic lever – and you will play a central role

Aufgaben

• 🔥 Closer cooperation with our founder Domenik: You will work directly with him, be his extended arm in Finance, and make joint strategic decisions.
• 🤖 Finance rethink with KI & Automation: You will identify manual processes in the Finance area and automate them – with tools like n8n or Zapier.
• 📊 Financial planning, budgeting & forecasting: You will take responsibility for the control of financial planning and develop it continuously further.
• 📈 KPI-, cash flow- & liquidity monitoring: You will keep the most important key figures in mind and lead to recommendations for action.
• 📋 Reporting for investors & management: You will create monthly reports, dashboards, and analyses and support in preparing investor presentations.
• 🛠️ Tool introduction & enablement: When new Finance tools are introduced, you will be responsible for bringing them into the team and ensuring adoption.
• 🤝 Internal point of contact for all financial matters: You will be the first point of contact for all teams – from Sales to Customer Success to Product.
• 🌐 Cooperation with external partners: You will coordinate cooperation with accountants, banks, and auditors.

Qualifikation

• Completed study in business administration, finance, controlling, or comparable – a master's degree is a clear plus
• 1-2 years of experience in a finance-related role – e.g. auditing, investment banking, corporate finance, or finance in a startup
• Safe handling of Excel and Google Sheets
• Ideal experience with Finance tools like Stripe, DATEV, or similar
• Ideal experience with Automation tools like n8n or Zapier
• Team player mentality and genuine enthusiasm for actively shaping processes
• German language skills at a native speaker level and solid English language skills
