Aufgaben

Your Role

As CFO, you will be a strategic sparring partner to the CEO and a full member of the Leadership Team. You are responsible for the financial and organizational scaling of the company – from financial strategy to M&A to People & Compensation. You create transparency, ensure profitability, and lay the foundation for sustainable growth.

Your Tasks

Financial Strategy & Steering

• Development and implementation of a 3-5-year financial strategy
• KPI-based steering of growth, cash flow, and profitability
• Reporting to management, shareholders, and the board

Finance Operations

• BUILDING AND SCALING EFFICIENT FINANCIAL PROCESSES (AR/AP, Billing, SaaS metrics)
• Monthly controlling, forecasting, and cash management
• Responsibility for budget planning, cost structures, and performance targets

Investor & Stakeholder Management

• Professional steering of investor relations and board communication
• A trusted interface to Verdane and other shareholders

M&A & Corporate Development

• Identification and evaluation of acquisition targets (Buy & Build)
• End-to-end responsibility: due diligence, deal execution, and post-merger integration
• Preliminary preparation and support for future exit or investor processes

Nice to have: Revenue Operations (Commercial Finance)

• Co-shaping pricing, packaging, and unit economics (MRR/ARR, CAC, LTV)
• Joint forecasts and sales-compensation models with sales and product

Nice to have: Legal, Tax & Compliance

• Responsibility for tax, corporate, and contract law
• Safeguarding data protection, licensing, and SaaS compliance

Qualification

Your Profile

• Multiple years of experience as CFO, VP Finance, Head of Finance or Head of Accounting/Controlling in a scale-up or PE-backed environment
• Entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset with strategic foresight
• Fundamental understanding of SaaS and digital business models
• Deep knowledge of SaaS key metrics: ARR, Churn, Cohorts, Margin, Forecasting
• Experience with fast-growing teams and dynamic organizational structures
• Safe, professional appearance towards investors, boards, and stakeholders
