Chief Executive Officer (m/f/d) Mechanical Engineering

Our client is an internationally active, medium-sized mechanical engineering manufacturer in the premium segment with its own production and an established international sales network. The majority shareholder is an investor with a focus on industry and technology. The company is financially sound and has a stable management team. For shaping the next phase of the company, we are seeking a Chief Executive Officer within the framework of an exclusive mandate.

Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for the company with full accountability for P&L and cash flow

Strategic further development of the business model, sales, and service business

Expansion of international business and tapping into new market potentials

Establishment of a professional commercial setup for the service and spare parts business

Customer-centric alignment of product management and R&D with clear prioritization of resources

Further development of the management team and establishment of a data-driven steering and improvement culture

Decisions on production and value chain strategy

Trust-based collaboration with the advisory board and shareholders, as well as co-shaping long-term value development

Qualifications

Completed business administration degree combined with sound technical understanding

Career path in mechanical engineering characterized by market, product, and sales responsibility

Experience as CEO or in comparable overall responsibility in a medium-sized industrial company

Expertise in building and managing international sales and service organizations

Proven ability for clear decisions in resource allocation and entrepreneurial thinking

Familiar with the working methods and pace of investor-driven companies

Proven change management competence, decisive, and pragmatic in implementation

Fluent in German and English
