Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

A high-growth, mid-sized private company and South Africa’s leading provider of smartphones and communication services to employees via payroll deduction is currently seeking an entrepreneurial, execution-driven CEO to lead the company into its next chapter of growth, operational excellence, and digital transformation. Responsibilities: Strategic Vision: Set a clear vision to transform the company into a scalable, digitally driven enterprise. Prioritize key initiatives such as digitizing customer experiences, streamlining operations, and leveraging data analytics to drive business decisions. Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the company’s future growth, including identifying new market opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the executive team, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall vision and goals. Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and open communication throughout the organization. Talent Development: Develop and implement programs to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the organization. Ensure that all employees have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles and contribute to the company’s success. Digital Transformation: Drive digital transformation across the organization by leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and drive business growth. Develop and implement a comprehensive digital strategy that includes investments in data analytics, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. Financial Management: Oversee the financial management of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure that the company’s financial performance is aligned with its strategic goals and objectives. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage effectively with stakeholders, including employees, customers, partners, and investors, to build trust, drive growth, and create long-term value. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Develop and track KPIs that measure the company’s progress towards its strategic goals and objectives. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role; Proven track record of driving growth, improving operational efficiency, and leading digital transformation initiatives; Strong understanding of technology trends and their impact on the business; Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills; Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees, customers, partners, and investors.
