Job description
Main qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA license is a plus
- 5 -7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a multinational company (retail is preferable);
- 2-3 years progressive leadership;
- Very good knowledge of the English language, German Language will be considered as an asset;
- Very good knowledge of R.A.S. and I.F.R.S. standards;
- Working experience in ERP accounting packages, preferably in SAP;
- Very good knowledge of MS OFFICE applications, especially Excel.

Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise the accounting department;
- Perform monthly/annual accounting activities according with Romanian and German requirements;
- Prepare the accounting reports and monthly/quarterly /yearly tax statements, statistics statements, GAAP and IFRS financial statements;
- Participate in reporting and controlling processes and ensure an accurate statutory/IFRS reporting;
- Collaborate with tax authorities for tax reviews;
- Participate in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing the requested documentations;
- Leading, mentoring and training the accounting team to ensure high performance;
- Proactively perform preventive check-ups inside accounting department and take the needed actions and mitigate the risks;
- Review and recommend changes of existing accounting guidelines and internal procedures.
