Join an international organization as a Chief Accountant, responsible for ensuring high-quality accounting service across month-end close, statutory reporting, and tax compliance. You will work closely with local and global stakeholders, support audits, and drive continuous process improvements in cooperation with the SSC.

YOU WILL

• Deliver accurate financial reporting in line with US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
• Play a key role in monthly/quarterly close and prepare statutory financial statements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Ensure tax compliance across CIT, VAT, WHT, Transfer Pricing, and MDR.
• Oversee selected regulatory reporting (e.g., GUS, NBP, INTRASTAT) and customer rebates.
• Drive process improvements and support finance projects in cooperation with SSC and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar accounting role in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of Polish tax and reporting requirements (CIT, VAT, WHT, TP, MDR).
• Fluency in Polish and English.
• Proven experience in preparing financial statements and supporting audits.
• Degree in Accounting/Finance (ACCA/CPA/CIMA is a plus).
• Good understanding of US GAAP and internal controls.
• ERP experience (preferably SAP S/4HANA) and advanced Excel skills.
