Cherwell CMDB Integration Specialist
Job description
Position: Integration Specialist
• Design, configure, and manage integrations between Cherwell CMDB and Ivanti Neurons.
• Ensure accurate and consistent CI/asset data flow between systems (hardware, software, network, cloud).
• Maintain relationships, dependencies, and service mappings within CMDB.
• Develop and maintain Cherwell One-Step procedures for CMDB automation (e.g., CI creation, updates, reconciliation).
• Design, implement, and customize Cherwell mApp Solutions to extend CMDB functionality and enable integrations.
• Leverage One-Steps and mApps to automate discovery imports, validation checks, and CI data corrections.
• Optimize workflows by integrating One-Steps and mApps with Neurons jobs and connectors.
• Implement rules, mappings, and validations to maintain CMDB data integrity.
• Identify and remediate duplicate or conflicting CI records.
• Align CMDB data with ITIL/ITSM best practices and organizational standards.
• Monitor CMDB sync jobs, One-Step executions, and automation logs.
• Troubleshoot failures, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely data updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on escalations.
• Document CMDB integration workflows, One-Step procedures, and mApp deployments.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal stakeholders.
Must Have Skills:
