CHEF / CHEFFE, STRATÉGIE BUREAU DE TRANSFORMATION

The Financial Services Department is looking for a key person to join its team. As part of the Principal Director's strategy office, the Chef/cheffe stratégie bureau de transformation plans and organizes administrative and operational activities within their department in the context of stimulating strategic reflection. They manage with efficiency and effectiveness human resources, material resources, and information under their responsibility and set up measures to ensure the follow-up and overall control of their activities.

Moreover, they are a key person in actualizing the mission and vision. They identify challenges, issues, strengths, and vulnerabilities within their department.

More specifically, the incumbent will have as main responsibilities:

• Establish a governance model and standards for project management (tools, cost management, framework and process, accountability, etc.) ;
  
• Manage a portfolio of business projects involving different departments within the organization ;
  
• Manage the prioritization process of projects in collaboration with business managers and the project portfolio committee ;
  
• Plan efficiently and effectively the capacity for executing projects according to the availability of resources within different departments called upon to participate in projects ;
  
• Ensure the proper management of projects on behalf of the project management team under their responsibility.
  

In their toolkit, our future colleague possesses :

• Degree in administration, finance, project management or other relevant field ;
  
• Minimum 10 years of experience, including 3 years in a management position (any combination of education and experience could be considered) ;
  
• Prior experience in managing large-scale projects ;
  
• Demonstrated ability to mobilize and influence resources from different business functions (transversal management) ;
  
• Active experience in managing KPIs related to accountability ;
  
• Certification PMP, CAPM (an asset) ;
  
• In view of the nature of the role requiring interactions with national French-speaking and English-speaking clients, bilingualism in French and English is required for this position.
