Our client, the AGJ Fachverband für Prävention und Rehabilitation in der Erzdiözese Freiburg e.V., is part of Caritas as the operator of clinics and supports people in diverse life situations and problem areas. The AGJ Fachverband offers 200 treatment places in the area of inpatient rehabilitation for addiction diseases in its three rehabilitation clinics and one day clinic, covering a wide range of indications. The rehabilitation clinics specialize in the treatment of medication, drug, and alcohol addiction.

For the two highly specialized AGJ specialist clinics St. Landelin (Herbolzheim) and Lindenhof (Schallstadt), in the vicinity of Freiburg im Breisgau, the position of Chief Physician (m/f/d) Psychiatry/Psychotherapy for Addiction Medicine is sought for the earliest possible start date. Both clinics have gender-sensitive treatment concepts and are rated with top marks by the German Pension Insurance.



Responsibilities

• Chief physician leadership of two rehabilitation clinics
• Leading medical and psychiatric activity
• Responsibility for the specialized medical standard of the clinics
• Hygiene Officer Physician
• Professional and organizational further development of the clinics
• Promotion of cross-site cooperation
• Further development and assurance of modern, evidence-based care and therapy for people with addiction diseases
• Ensuring the specialized knowledge and efficient structure in the medical and sports/physiotherapy personnel area
• Personnel development in the medical as well as sports and physiotherapy personnel area
• Ensuring effective emergency management
• Responsibility for the economic and strategic further development of the medical service areas

Profile

• Specialist Physician (m/f/d) in Psychiatry/Psychotherapy or Specialist Physician (m/f/d) in Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy
• Additional qualification "Basic Addiction Medicine Care" desirable
• Many years of experience in inpatient and outpatient treatment of people with addiction diseases
• Leadership and management experience with interdisciplinary teams
• Appreciative attitude towards people with addiction diseases and their relatives, with the willingness to seek opportunities to improve the living situation of those affected beyond the limits of clinical treatment
• Strong leadership competence regarding team development and staff management
• High social competence as well as pronounced communication skills, persuasiveness, personal agility, and innovative capacity
