Hosco What will be your mission? As a chef, you will be responsible for preparing preliminary dishes, cooking, plating or presenting high-quality plates to offer an excellent experience to guests. What will you do? - Preparation, conservation and organization of mise-en-place for each service, minimizing product losses. - Ensure the presentation, quantity and quality of every plate served, based on established standards. - Monitor and control the correct storage of products, tracking the age and condition of all food items to rotate and maintain maximum quality (FIFO). - Receive, store and organize products. - Maintain a clean, organized and well-organized work area. - Report maintenance, hygiene and safety issues. - Knowledge of department objectives and commitment to achieving them as part of the team. - Follow all relevant departmental health regulations and customer service guidelines (HACCP). What are we looking for? - At least 1-2 years of experience as a kitchen assistant, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity. - Professional training in hospitality/F&B/culinary arts. - Knowledge of the local language is essential and knowledge of English is highly valued. - Ability to work alone and as part of a team. - Organizational skills. - Ability to work under pressure. - Customer service orientation. - Attention to detail.
