About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Chef to take responsibility for planning, organising, and overseeing the preparation and cooking of food within our busy kitchen. You will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest quality and presented in an appealing manner. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our customers. • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations. • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively. • Maintain accurate records of food preparation, waste, and stock levels. • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve our goals and objectives. • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation. • Participate in menu planning and development, ensuring that all dishes are of the highest quality and meet customer expectations. • Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a positive dining experience. • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques. • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required. • Perform other duties as required by the restaurant.
