Side Bar is one of Sydney's most vibrant nightlife and dining venues, operating under the Millett Group — a well-established hospitality group known for delivering exceptional food, drink, and entertainment experiences. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team and contribute to our dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and cook menu items in accordance with venue standards
Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality
Monitor and manage food inventory, ordering, and cost control
Develop and implement seasonal menus and daily specials
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff
Collaborate with management to maintain a smooth service flow during busy periods
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen and storage areas

Skills & Experience

Relevant Qualification
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Chef in a fast-paced venue or restaurant
Strong understanding of modern Australian and international cuisines
Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and maintain quality standards
Commitment to workplace safety and hygiene practices
