Logistics Team Leader – Preparation F/M

As part of an internal mobility, Hamelin is looking for its future Logistics Preparation Team Leader F/M.

Reporting to the Building Manager, you will organize, lead, and supervise preparation of order activities. A true frontline manager, you will be responsible for the safety, quality of operations, adherence to deadlines, and performance of your sector.

Your missions

Frontline Management

• Lead and support a team of order pickers on a daily basis.

• Organize shift handovers and team briefings.

• Develop versatility and skill development of employees.

• Support the integration of new employees and temporary workers.

• Conduct individual and collective performance reviews.

• Manage operational situations and daily challenges.

Activity Management

• Organize and coordinate preparation operations.

• Allocate resources based on workload.

• Prioritize orders and manage emergencies.

• Ensure adherence to schedules and deadlines.

• Supervise picking, packing, and palletizing operations.

• Ensure smooth flow until shipment.

Performance and Continuous Improvement

• Monitor the performance indicators of your sector.

• Identify discrepancies and implement appropriate corrective actions.

• Optimize logistical flows and work organization.

• Participate in continuous improvement projects.

Quality and Safety

• Ensure the accuracy of prepared orders.

• Ensure compliance with company procedures and standards.

• Enforce safety rules and the wearing of PPE.

• Identify at-risk situations and contribute to accident prevention.

• Actively participate in the quality process and customer satisfaction.

Your profile

You have successful experience in team management within a logistics, industrial, or distribution environment.
